Release history and improvements
Credit cards, handled properly â plus a rebuilt Subscriptions view and account filtering throughout.
Credit Cards
-
đŗ
Two questions, answered separately â Once you link a card, "how much did I spend" splits in two. Your dashboard shows cash out: money that actually left your accounts, where a card purchase counts when you pay the card. Reports shows where it went: what you bought, across every account, on the day you bought it. Both screens now say which one you're looking at.
-
đ
New Card Debt card â See what you owe and whether it grew or shrank this month, with charged against paid for the last four months. Red months added to the debt, green months paid it down.
-
đ
Per-card breakdown â Tap the Card Debt card for balances by card, what you're spending on them, and whether each one has been paid this period.
-
âī¸
Payments counted once â A card payment moves money rather than spending it, and the purchases it settles were already counted on the card. It no longer shows up twice in your totals.
Spending
-
đ¸
Cash apps are spending again â Money sent to Cash App, Venmo, PayPal or Apple Cash used to be filed as a transfer and counted toward nothing at all. It's now ordinary spending, so it appears in your totals and in your categories instead of quietly disappearing.
-
đ¯
Budgets measure what you pay â Budget limits and alerts now track cash out, so a purchase on a card can't trip a limit before you've actually paid for it.
Subscriptions
-
đ
Rebuilt from your own categories â Your subscriptions list is now driven by the budget categories you choose, and shows what you actually paid this month rather than a rolling average.
-
âŠī¸
Undo a dismissal â Removed a recurring charge by mistake? You can bring it back.
Accounts
-
đ
Hide accounts from the filter bar â Accounts you rarely filter by can be hidden from the chips. They still sync and still count toward every total â it only tidies the filter bar.
-
đĻ
Clearer bank connections â Each connection now names the accounts it covers, so two connections to the same bank are easy to tell apart.
-
đˇī¸
Your labels, everywhere â Rename a card in Accounts and that name now follows it through the credit card screens, not just the filter chips.
Reports
-
đ
Filter trends by account â Trends and reports can be narrowed to a single account, and a single account is measured by its own cash flow.
-
đ
Deep Dive reads the right direction â Refunds no longer chart as spending, and deposit categories like Credit to Account show their real totals instead of zero.
Good to know
-
âšī¸
Your dashboard total may look different â If you use credit cards or cash apps, the number will move after updating. Nothing was lost: the same money is now counted in one place instead of two, or instead of none.
Ask Chip now understands date ranges, plus clarity and reliability improvements.
Ask Chip
-
đ
Ask about any date range â Ask Chip now answers questions like "How much did I spend on groceries between June 1 and June 15?" â name any two dates, within a month or across months.
Savings Goals
-
đ
Clearer goal categories â When picking a category for a savings goal, categories already linked to another goal now appear disabled instead of hidden, so it's clear why they're unavailable (one goal per category).
Message Board
-
âī¸
Clearer budget wording â Budget alerts now distinguish between reaching and exceeding a budget.
Reliability
-
đ ī¸
Reconnect fix â Fixed a crash that could occur when reconnecting a bank in update mode.
This update makes wunderBudget more reliable and your budget alerts more useful.
Security
-
đ
Smoother sign-in â If your session expires after a while away, you're now prompted to sign back in cleanly instead of hitting errors.
-
âŗ
Stay signed in longer â Between visits, your session now lasts longer before you need to sign in again.
Message Board
-
đĸ
See the numbers behind alerts â Budget alerts now show the numbers behind them (for example, "$812 of $700"), so you always know exactly why you were notified.
-
đ
Reliable tap-through â Tapping a budget alert now reliably opens the right category and month.
Message Board
-
đ
Budget messages open category detail â Tapping a budget alert now takes you straight to that category's transactions for the month, instead of just the Dashboard.
Ask Chip
-
â
Accurate over/under-budget answers â "Am I over budget on anything?" now only counts categories that actually have a budget for that month â no more phantom budgets borrowed from other months.
-
đĩ
Cleaner figures â Over- and under-budget amounts are rounded to the nearest dollar for easier reading.
Other
-
đ¨
